Certified Medical Assistant or LPN

Performs work in the clinical and administrative areas of the medical practice.  Completes initial assessments and re-assessments for patients being seen by clinical providers. Identifies common medical/nursing care, learning needs, symptoms and/or abnormal diagnostic data. Assists physician/other providers with routing procedures within scope of practice/competency. Performs assigned treatments, therapies and procedures safely. Administers medications and sterile solutions as directed/authorized by provider.  Uses electronic medical record system proficiently as primary source of documentation of all patient visits and correspondence.  Assists with scanning documents into EMR. Completes all required training when scheduled and on time.  Experience in a physician medical practice preferred.Performs other duties as assigned.

Certified Medical Assistant - High school diploma or equivalent required.  We can only move forward with Medical Assistants that have a national or state certification.  Also open to CNA's that have the additional certification to draw blood and give immunizations. 

LPN - Must be a graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.  Licensed to practice as a LPN in South Carolina.
