Certified Nursing Assistant

• Responds to resident/guest calls.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs).

• Recording and reporting of observations, including but not limited to food intake, skin conditions, vital signs, incidents/accidents and resident changes.

• Round on resident every 2 hours or as required.

• Participate in Plan of Care initiation and continuation.

• Understand and ensure compliance with universal precautions, including but not limited to infection control, hazardous waste, blood-borne pathogens and all safety rules.

• Assist, as directed, in admission, transfer and discharge of residents and post-mortem care.

• Safeguards medical equipment and supplies and keep resident room safe, organized and functional.

• Maintains thorough knowledge of emergency evacuation procedures.
