Wages/Salary: $12.39+ depending on experience/training
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); technical school desired; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with CNC equipment. Must pass pre-employment screens.
The successful candidates will have machine operating experience such as loading CNC mills and have the capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and strong attention to detail. In addition to loading components and CNC programs, milling operators clean and maintain machines, inspect machined components for accuracy, inspect cutting tools and disposition of worn or defective tools, and provide feedback and suggestions. Candidate will have machining experience and/or training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
? Ensures work area is clean and clear of safety hazards
? Promotes safe work practices and environment with himself/herself and those near the work area
? Uses specified PPE
? Maintains equipment per the established procedures and policies
? Sets up milling center in accordance with training and process documentation
? Completes product inspections and assures quality in accordance with the established processes
? Machines product as per the department schedule or supervisor's directives
? Ensures machine is functioning properly and produces quality product
? Maintains machining tools
