Job Description:
Cleans buildings, removes debris (indoors and outdoors) and keeps areas in orderly condition.
Job Duties
- Perform general cleaning of the facility such as cleaning floors by vacuuming and buffing, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, emptying trash receptacles and replacing lining of trash cans
- Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
- Clean equipment as assigned
- Restock supplies
- Dispose of waste and scrap properly
- Perform routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours
- Assist maintenance department when required
- Complete all documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
