Wages/Salary: $9.79-$10.52 per hour, dependent upon location
Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D., a valid SC driver?s license with a good driving record, and must be able to lift 50 lbs. All candidates who accept an offer of employment with the agency will be required to attend 6 days of classroom training which will include acquiring and maintaining a practitioner or higher level of certification in Crisis Management Procedures.
Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers to provide assistance to individuals with disabilities in a community-based setting. DSPs provide assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; and personal care. DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
