Requirements:

•Associate degree in technical field required
•BS in Engineering Preferred.
•Minimum of 5 years experience in a commercial flip chip assembly manufacturing environment; experience including surface mount or other assembly processes is an advantage.
•Expert knowledge of standard procedures and practices used in chip assembly operations.
•Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
•Experience in start-up organization within technology area
•Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects over wide range of priorities and focus is required.
•Must be able to support Six Sigma programs focused on throughput and profit improvements. Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certifications is a plus.
•Experience with Electrical current blueprint reading
•Experience with equipment installations
Must be be available to work 12 hour shifts, including the 12-hour night shift

Job Description:

•Support Process Quality Engineering with performance and specification development.
•Provide on-machine expertise to operators and other staff personnel to ensure manufacturing capability and capacity are meeting delivery and performance targets.
•Assists Group leaders and shift operations with ongoing training and technical operations support.
•Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems, install and perform unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance on equipment based on customer demand or need.
•Analyses of problems or situations pertaining to breakdowns of customer equipment and recommends actions necessary to correct situation.
•Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods;
•Liaising with client departments and customers;
•Arranging procurement of tools, equipments, fittings or components as needed.
•Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs;
•Writing maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines
•Assists research and engineering staffs in evaluating, testing and qualifying new equipment and processing strategies.
•Supports design and product development teams with new product launches.
