Wages/Salary: $31,805.00 - $58,848.00 Annually
A bachelor's degree in engineering; or a bachelor's degree in engineering technology and two (2)years of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid motor vehicle operator's license.
Assists the Resident Construction Engineer in the supervision of work conducted by contractors to ensure all items of work are constructed and performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for the project. Assists the Resident Construction Engineer with gathering and compiling monthly construction reports and compiling final plans. Also assists in studying the contracts and plans to ensure the contractor is performing their work properly. Supervises the preparation of final plans. This includes taking the final measurements, reducing the measurements to final quantities on a set of final plans and preparing the statements of
overruns and under-runs. Performs inspections on roadway and bridge construction projects to ensure that the construction is performed as indicated on the plans, special provisions, and standard specifications. Performs other related engineering duties as required.
