Requirements:

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Candidates will be need to sucessfully complete pre-employment testing and will be hired through a staffing agency.

Job Description:

Assists in carrying out safety projects and tasks as needed. The majority of work will be on a computer in an office environment, but will be required to go onto the shop floor.

· Assist with the implementation and auditing of safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.

· Assist with design of new safety systems and maintenance of existing systems.

· Perform risk assessments on production processes to ensure safe work environment.

· Provide information, signs, posters, barriers and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions.
·
· Prepare and arrange safety exhibits and material for display, promotional work, industry conferences and exhibitions.

· Maintain safety files and records. Perform Industrial H&S surveys and audits to ensure compliance with appropriate Federal and State regulations.

· Assist EHS teams in data trending and analysis.

· Perform processes safety risk assessments as needed.

Schedule:
Generally, 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM for up to 6 months.
