The South Carolina Treasurer's Office is looking for interns to assist in the Executive Division.

Here is some information about the Office of the State Treasurer:

The State Treasurer's Office is the state's "private bank," managing and investing the state's funds. We are custodian of more than $60 billion in public funds and administer the state's Unclaimed Property Program, Future Scholar 529 College Savings Plan and ABLE Savings Program, which provides eligible individuals with disabilities the opportunity to save and invest money while maintaining eligibility for important needs-based benefits. The Treasurer serves as Chairman of the Board of Financial Institutions, which supervises state chartered financial institutions and supervises mortgage originators and lenders, finance companies, payday lenders, and title lenders. He is the Vice Chairman of the State Fiscal Accountability Authority, Vice Chairman of the South Carolina Education Authority and Vice Chairman of the South Carolina Tobacco Authority.

The State Treasurer's Office is looking for undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in learning about the functions and responsibilities of South Carolina State Government and specifically the interactions the State Treasurer's Office has with our state and local communities. Any motivated and hardworking students are encouraged to apply.  We are currently seeking students with the following majors/concentrations:
