Duties may require sitting, kneeling, crouching, standing, walking, stepping over items, twisting, lifting, reaching, or bending, pushing, pulling, repetitive motions and stooping for periods of time. You will consistently be required to use your hands with fine manipulation and use various tools. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust or focus. The noise level in the work environment usually is moderate, and occasionally high. Non-air-conditioned work area. Strength level = Medium work, frequently using force greater than 10 lbs.
Experienced Gunsmith
Duties and Responsibilities
· Ability to master the complete assembly of Noreen products.
· Assembly of small components.
· Test products to ensure they will function safely.
· Assist in maintaining small parts inventory.
· Packaging customer firearms orders.
· Collaborate with the shipping and receiving departments when orders are ready to be shipped.
· Ensure consistent and quality work product in a timely manner across the entire department.
· Answer email, and voicemail inquiries.
· Must understand various assembly requirements, such as fitting corresponding parts. Assembly steps must be done in specific order and to specifications.
Qualifications
· High level of respect, knowledge, and implementation of firearms safety.
· Occasionally be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to operate machinery and tools including power tools, grinders, sanders, saws and files.
· Able to pass a background check and work in a drug free environment.
· Eligible to work in the US.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Mechanically inclined with good manual capabilities and common sense.
