Requirements:

A 10th grade education; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. (NOTE): This position requires a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However,
applicants without a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License are available.

Job Description:

Trains to operate 5 yard dump trucks in hauling materials, pipe and equipment to and from job sites and operates snow plow attachment during inclement weather. Performs manual labor necessary to hand clearing right-of-ways, cleaning out drainage ditches, repairing shoulders of roadway, patching potholes, installing drives, repairing bridges, and laying sideline/crossline drainage pipe. Trains in the operation of tractor mounted slope mowers and guardrail mowers to be used for mowing sight areas and guardrails. During roadway maintenance and repair, sets up
signs and performs flagging operations at job site to direct traffic safely around workers and equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Full-Time Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
