A valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. (NOTE): This position requires a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However, applicants without a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License are available.
Trains in the operation of combination tractor mowers (sickle/rotary) in cutting right-of-way and shoulders. Trains in the operation of boom mowers and other specialized mowing equipment. Trains in the operation of 5 yard standard dump truck, and flatbed tractor for hauling materials such as asphalt, limestone, dirt, soil, cement, pipe, construction materials and debris. Trains in
the operation of heavier equipment such as tandem dump trucks, front-end loaders, selfpropelled belt loaders, steel wheel and pneumatic rollers, motor graders specialized mowers and backhoes. Trains in the operation of standard dump with snow plow and sand spreader to remove snow and ice from highways and bridges. Performs other related job duties as requested or assigned by supervisor.
