Patches potholes failures by hand with hot mix asphalt or cold mix asphalt using shovel, rake and asphalt lute on SCDOT roads and right of ways. Trains to operate standard dump truck to haul and dump hot mix and cold mix asphalt, sand, clay, debris and other maintenance materials. Trains to operate combination tractor with rear or side mounted rotary mower to cut grass or shoulders of roadway. Trains to operate a Boom mounted mower to cut back slopes on SCDOT right-of-ways. Operates a chain saw in cutting trees on right-of-ways. Picks up litter and debris. Assists during snow and ice operations and other emergencies. Performs other related duties as assigned.
