Requirements:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, with experience/training/education in a related field: associate's degree is preferred. This position will involve handling patient samples and specimens for delivery to the appropriate diagnostic laboratories.

Job Description:

The primary role of this position will be receiving the receipt of incoming patient samples via FedEx, UPS, private couriers, and other sources, and handling of specimens for delivery to the appropriate diagnostic laboratories. In addition, the role will require candidates to review test requisitions and triage specimens according to accreditation standards while using universal precautions for bio-hazard materials. The candidate will receive and distribute diagnostic supplies to appropriate laboratories and will communicate with outside physician offices as needed.

Schedule:
Full time, Monday- Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
