Requirements:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients and staff
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Nursing Degree from an accredited college/university or an approved LPN/LVN program
- Current, unencumbered license to practice in S.C.
Job Description:
- Administer nursing care for ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Provide patient care and treatment
- Administer prescribed medications
- Educate and update patients on medical treatments, health maintenance, and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Schedule:
12 hour shifts 7a-7p or 7p-7a. Part time positions are also available.
