Department Marketing Statement
We are looking for Engineering Majors for our Summer Internship Program for 2019. This program offers a dynamic and accelerated work experience that prepares you to compete for entry level, professional positions upon graduation, and provides you with skill building work. The program’s goal is to attract, develop, and retain high potential college students. Upon graduation and after successfully completing the program, you may be eligible for consideration into a SCANA core business. This internship will be in the SCANA Gas Services organization with the work location at the Bushy Park LNG facility located in Goose Creek, SC. Successful candidate responsibilities will be concentrated in the area of plant equipment research, documentation and maintenance to include:
Operations support for plant operations
Small project management
Support for Supervision during multiple project execution
Analysis of plant operating data for development of efficiencies
Qualifications
Completed the first year of a 4-year college/university or 2-year college transfer program
Degree being pursued is in an engineering field
Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Availability to work the summer of 2019
