Requirements:

Experience with PLC (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi) Controllers. Experience with various mechanical aspects of high speed production lines.
Legible handwriting.
Ability to follow written instructions well.
Good written and spoken communication skills.
Strong math background.
Experience/knowledge in welding.
Ability to work well with other people.
Demonstrate a cooperative attitude.
Must maintain good attendance.
Requires strong background in electrical and electronic training, knowledge, &
experience.
Must be able to work independent and use good judgment.
Must be able to use power and hand tools to cut, thread, bend, and assemble black iron and plastic pipe and conduit.
Ability to read and understand electrical manuals.
Knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly, a wide variety of tools and equipment.

Job Description:

Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, hoist, crane, and testing equipment, and following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic diagrams.

Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment, using electrical and electronic equipment.

Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.

Layout, assembles, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replaces gages, valves, regulators, and equipment as necessary.

Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishments.
May install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment, such as Programmable Controllers.

Performs both preventive and unscheduled maintenance, as needed, to building and/or equipment.

Maintains all plant facilities and equipment, in safe operating order. Immediately reports any unsafe condition or operations.

Assists in planning and scheduling projects when needed.

Keeps work area clean, neat and free of clutter and debris.

Assists in other areas whenever needed.

Schedule:
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday. On call as needed. Overtime when required.
