Three (3) years experience as a Maintenance Technician performing the following duties: maintain, troubleshoot, repair (mechanical, electrical, PLC) on machines; diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve problems with equipment, controls or programs (Siemens 5/7); assist with machine set-up/changeovers, as needed; complete work orders; assist other support groups, as needed; improve current methods and initiate new procedures; possible (minimum) travel to train on equipment and/or projects (domestic or overseas); create and maintain training manuals; work with sub-contractors; Siemens PLC, HMI/MMI, SCADA, VFD, electrical circuitry; programming codes, blueprints, electrical prints; HS Diploma required or equivalent with minimum 3 years previous experience; Mechatronics Certificate OR AAS degree in electronics or computer programming or equivalent experience with electrical knowledge preferred. Must be able to communicate in English; Knowledge of computers, programs, and software; Use of hand and power tools found in shop setting.
Maintenance Technicians play a prominent, critical role in our manufacturing facility. Supporting our manufacturing team in service; your responsibilities are great: maintaining, troubleshooting (mechanical, electrical, PLC), repairing and performing P.M.?s on the equipment (according to schedule) are essential to keep our high-tech equipment running in order to meet our business demands. Currently, two maintenance technicians are needed willing to work a contract assignment for 2nd shift/3rd shift with expected time frame 2 - 3 months.
