Associate's degree in technical field preferred, not required. Must have at least a HS diploma or GED. Self motivated individual; good electro/mechanical fault finding abilities; basic hydraulic/pneumatic skills; ability to read Eplan schematics; familiarity with automation equipment; prepared to learn new technologies in the automotive industry. Some added advantages: PLC experience; robotic experience, and injection molding machine experience, 3-5 years preferred.
Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment. Electrical: daily checks and measurement; preventative maintenance; new implementations: link machines, cabling and wiring modifications, programs modifications; repairs on different technologies: hydraulics, pneumatic, electric, and PLC; spare parts management; report work activities for validation; request safety procedure in case of intervention; refer to a Manager in case of a complex repairing; able to use documents: technical, drawing, schematic, nomenclatures, process sheet and listing programs; and attend machine setup. Mechanical: insure the mechanical maintenance: manipulate the over-head crane; daily checks and measurement; preventative maintenance with use of documents; new implementations: link machines, cabling and wiring modifications, programs modifications; repairs on different technologies: hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, and PLC.
