Maintenance Technician-Electrician

A large, well established and highly regarded food manufacturer has an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician at their upstate South Carolina plant. Candidates for the position will bring a can-do, hands-on approach.
Requirements:
? Have knowledge of and capable of performing special technical skill (e.g. basic electrical troubleshooting, basic PLC skills, machining, welding tasks, gas trane). (At least four required and successful practical demonstration of skills have been shown over a period of time.)
? Must have the ability to communicate technical information so as to improve the skills of the food technicians.
? Must have a working knowledge of electrical installation and construction.
? Must have a high degree of competency in the application of both AC/DC motor drives, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
? Must have the ability and initiative to lead and participate in plant problem solving teams.
? Must have knowledge of or be willing and able to train in Maintenance Systems, computer skills, lubricants and lubricating systems, and new technologies in predictive maintenance.
? Must be able to apply problem-solving techniques, communicate effectively, demonstrate leadership, and plan effectively.
? Will be required to continuously upgrade job skills in the maintenance, reliability and shop equipment areas through use of assessments and training.
