Basic Qualifications:
?Bachelor?s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical)
?Must be able to travel as necessary (up to 10%) to effectively interface with customers and other required contacts, to work at various outside/inside site locations, and to manage or participate in company-related projects, activities, or other job-related assignments.
?Preferred Qualifications:
?One (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment leading process improvement projects

Job Description:

Provide a broad range of professional engineering support to manufacturing operations and plant facility maintenance; provide lead project responsibility for the execution of complex projects and project assignments within the manufacturing and engineering functions; develop more complex engineering and process control documentation for manufacturing needs; provide coordination and technical guidance to production personnel as appropriate.

?Specify, design, quote, install, debug, and maintain equipment for use in manufacturing.
?Train factory operators in the use of equipment, tooling and procedures.
?Develop and implement improvements to manufacturing and its procedures and processes through improved layout and material handling procedures.
?Develop and implement safety, health, ergonomic, and environmental improvements within the manufacturing facility per Eaton?s MESH policy and guidelines.
?Assist those responsible within the facility with the compliance of governmental regulations such as OSHA and the EPA.
?Plan, coordinate, and oversee changes and upgrades to the manufacturing facility.
?Use SPC and other techniques to improve product quality and to troubleshoot equipment; oversee repairs or modifications as required.
?Assist factory personnel in their efforts to improve their operations.
?Serve as a representative of the company in membership on industry committees, task forces, and other professional industry groups and technical affiliations.
?Perform other related activities and special projects as assigned.
