Optician

The ability to identify, work with and perform routine maintenance on optical laboratory equipment, tools and materials. Surfacing, edging and finishing lab experience required working with both plastic and glass. Experience fabricating prescription dive masks and working with optical adhesives a plus. Ability to correctly read and interpret prescription specifications. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time while occasionally needing to stoop, bend, kneel, reach, twist and crouch. Ability to multi-task with attention to detail a must. Ability to inspect products for a deficiency free finish. Ideal candidate will posses a full scope of optician skills, ABO certification is a plus. Salary to commensurate with experience.
