Requirements:
  • Completion of Pharmacy Tech training program or HSD/GED
  • Two years Pharmacy Tech experience
  • SC Board of Pharmacy Technician certification
  • National certification a plus, ut not required. 
Job Description:

Under the direction of a pharmacist, a pharmacy technician performs pharmacy-related functions in compliance with department policies and procedures. As an active member of the pharmacy team, technicians may interpret and prepare medication orders, make deliveries to nursing units, compound medications (sterile and nonsterile), and perform quality assurance responsibilities. A Pharmacy Technician II may participate in Tech-Check-Tech functions, assist in training pharmacy personnel and compound hazardous medications.

Schedule:
Must be available between 7A - 9P
Every other weekend
On-call every 8th weekend
