The Quality Assurance Specialist these detail-oriented professionals are responsible for the development and implementation of inspection activities, the detection and resolution of problems, and the delivery of satisfactory outcomes.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Ensure ongoing abidance by industry regulatory and quality requirements

· Address, investigate and resolve customer or supplier grievances and other non-conformance issues as necessary

· Coordinate and support internal audits and from external providers

· Create and keep up to date audit reports and other quality assurance activities

· Recognize and maintain the confidentiality of all materials in the work setting, including document control

· Support risk management and continuous improvement activities

· Inspect or manually test products before, during and after the manufacturing process to ensure set standards are met

· Collaborate with team to understand product changes and QA testing requirements to deal with issues/defects in a timely manner

· Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspections systems

· Support management in data collection to keep trend of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES

· Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality, process engineering or related field

· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, QA applications and databases

· Willingness to actively pursue certifications for professional growth

· Excellent verbal and written skills; must be able to communicate clearly with all levels

· Ability to work with minimal supervision to complete responsibilities

· Knowledge of quality requirements, terminology and tools

· Strong inspection, data collection and auditing abilities

· Understanding of data and statistical analyses
