Job responsibilities may include:
Work directly with Mfg. Engineers, supervisors, lead people, management and manufacturing to improve flow, reduce cost and develop continuous improvement programs/projects for new and existing products. Assist in determining project priorities and project complete to expectations with ATS management for maintenance projects compliant with facility needs and expectations.
A. Working knowledge of computer systems including but not limited to: Auto-CAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Enovia, OMS, Vista etc.
B. Must have excellent verbal and customer relationship skills as a large part of this job will be working with and leading others without having any direct authority over them.
C. Physical capability of walking up and down stairs and ladders, working on your feet for hours at a time, moving around equipment and buildings, and lifting up to 50lbs.
D. Assist manufacturing operators and supervisors in troubleshooting manufacturing problems.
E. Assist other personnel with troubleshooting functions to determine most efficient method for repair of production lines, tools, fixtures and dies or resolution systems issues.
F. Develop and implement improvements to manufacturing or front end procedures and processes through improved layout, material handling, or work processes and procedures.
G. Perform data entry and other automated posting functions to support department needs using computer-based business systems, with responsibility for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of work.
H. Perform systems monitoring to identify such problems as data entry errors, program failures and design failures; resolve transaction errors.
I. Maintain frequent contact with other plant personnel and Division personnel to provide information or resolve applications problems.
J. Responsible for answering routine questions and issues about customer orders from Field
Sales Organization, Distributors, End Customers as well as departments within the
facility.
K. Distributes Vista change notices to appropriate personnel.
L. Rejects/Approves vista change notices related to shipping addresses, methods, do not ship
before requirements and other customer service specific requests
