Island Holistic Veterinary Center

We will be opening in the early spring.  Our practice will encompass traditional Western practice as well as Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, Chiropractic, and other holistic practice modalities.  We are looking for an experienced veterinary receptionist to offer exceptional customer service.

 Responsibilities would include the following:

• Provide customer services which include greeting customers, answering questions, processing incoming patients, and handling payments.
• Answer phone calls, which may involve answering questions, triage and screening skills, and scheduling appointments.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email.
• Update and file patient charts.
• Process credit card payments.
• Retrieve prescriptions.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the waiting room.
• Team player- willing to learn
