Shipping Clerk

Flexible Staffing is looking for a Shipping Coordinator in Piedmont!
Full time, temp-to-hire position.  Duties include:
Ensure all date entry, scheduling updates and shipping documents are processed accurately to support daily warehouse operations.
• First line of communication between customer and transportation teams. 
•  Prioritize and process Outbound paperwork and BOLs. 
• Communicate with guard shack and warehouse lead/supervisor to direct trucks to proper loading docks.
• Ensure all truck drivers entering are checked in properly with correct information recorded as well as leaving with proper and correct documentation of pickup. 
• Prioritize daily work and distribute to warehouse team.
• Send required daily reporting to Customer 
• Attention to detail, especially numbers as orders can have similar characteristics.
• Schedule and assemble upwards of 40 orders before next business day. 
• Sense of urgency and timely completion of tasks.
• Organizational and multitasking skills a must.
• Work and perform tasks in sometimes loud and fast paced environment.
• Know or be able to learn HighJump Warehouse Advantage system, SAP, and transportation scheduling portal. 
• General safety training. 
• Ability to communicate; in person, or by computer, telephone, 2-way radio promptly and professionally.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs required.
