This intern position is designed to prepare a student trainee for employment after graduation as a Clerical Assistant. The entry level position is a Student Trainee (GS-0399-04) participating within the Pathways Program. Interns will be assigned tasks designed to increase familiarity with the target occupation in a real world work environment, such as timekeeping, preparing travel orders/vouchers in the Corps of Engineers Financial System, operating a computer to produce a variety of correspondence, reports and spreadsheets, receive visitors and telephone calls.
