Technical Intern-Testing and Commissioning

Scope:
Supports Alstom?s testing and commission team by participating in field testing activities, test data analysis, and modification of engineering drawings. Responsible for defining and documenting technical processes.

Essential Functions:
? Support of component and full-scale test activities
? Technical data generation and analysis
? Preparation and modification of engineering drawings and electrical diagrams
? Learn processes, procedures and assist in network analysis
? Create flow charts and spreadsheets in support of staff projects
? Provide engineering support assistance for quality issues
? Interface with engineering team and field testers
? Willingness to learn and be part of a team building the next generation of Train Control and SCADA technology

Education and Experience Requirements:
? Minimum two years of college or technical school required
? Electrical or Computer engineering preferred
? Working knowledge of industrial systems application software (training will be provided)
? Working knowledge of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems that monitor and control processes
? Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)
? Excellent interpersonal and written skills
