Tool Management Technician

_{Position Qualifications:}

• _{High School Diploma/GED and completion of an apprenticeship or training program, or 3 years of previous experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial tooling management in a heavy-duty machining environment.}
• _{Ability to work overtime as needed}

_{Preferred Qualifications:}

• _{Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance}
• _{Ability to obtain appropriate hoists and power vehicle licenses (Flatbed, Hi-Lo, & Mule) when necessary.}
• _{Basic knowledge of a variety of machines and tools such as measuring devices, power tools, taps or dies, and hoists, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.}
• _{Basic knowledge of inventory control systems, manufacturing and production processes, raw materials, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.}
• _{Intermediate mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, lubrication, and repair of production machines}
• _{Knowledge of MTU products, policies, and procedures}
• _{Knowledge of heavy-duty diesel engine manufacturing}
