Assists with vegetation management, drainage issue correction, pothole patching, guardrail repair, litter pickup, and other required duties relating to maintenance of Interstate 26 in Newberry County. Assists with installation of driveways, drainage issue correction, pothole patching, on State-maintained roads in Newberry County. Trains to operate 5 yard dump truck hauling equipment and materials to and from job sites. Performs duties using manual labor, in such maintenance tasks as clearing of right-of-ways and repairing shoulders, patching potholes, and making base repairs. Performs flagging, work zone setup and take down, and follow vehicle driving duties. Operates small power tools and remove tree from right-of-way.
