The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, dependable, honest, hardworking and able to work unsupervised. Although trailer sales, assembly and/or fabrication experience is preferred, we will invest the time to train and teach the right person. You will need to bring a great work ethic and a willingness to learn new things. DOT and other local Federal and State trailer inspection experience is a plus. Auto and Diesel mechanic experience is a plus.
1. Maintain the sales lot
- a. Make sure trailers are stocked and ready to sell
- b. Cut grass as needed
- c. Maintain the gravel sales lot – grading, scraping and repairing as needed
2. Unload and Assemble trailers
- a. Able to operate a forklift is a plus
- b. Assembly of trailers
(typically includes: Install tires, hang gates/ramps, touch up paint, install jacks and couplers)
3. Quality Inspection
- a. Inspect trailers to ensure they are ready to sell
- b. Correct any deficiencies
4. Service and repair trailers
- a. Able to diagnose and repair electrical systems
- b. Brake and axle repair
- c. Remove and replace wood decking
- d. Welding experience is preferred
5. Assist with sales and marketing
- a. Must be great with people and a good communicator
- b. Must be proficient with computers.
- c. Assist in the daily updating of our website inventory and internet marketing.
