Our practice is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced full time lead veterinary technician to join our team. We are a progressive 2 doctor small animal clinic located in the medical district of Augusta, GA. This position offers opportunities for growth, leadership and creativity in a supportive friendly environment.

Ideal applicants will have 1+ years of experience working as a veterinary technician or a recent graduate licensed in GA. Exceptional client communication, the ability to work efficiently within a team, self-motivation, compassion toward patient and clients, and an interest in high quality medicine a MUST! Experience or interest in working with exotic animals a plus, but not required.

The clinic is open 8am-5pm M,T,Th,F and 8-12pm on Wednesdays. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday. No weekend hours or emergency call duties required. However, occasional limited after hours care may be necessary at times to meet the needs of our patients. We offer in-house lab, digital radiographs, ultrasound, Companion Laser, computer based record keeping, and monthly training.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Client education and communication, patient handling, record keeping, laboratory services, radiology, calculating and administering medication, collecting blood and samples, placing catheters, surgical monitoring, and dental cleaning.

Salary and benefits based on experience level.
