Veterinary Technician

Obtain patient history, vitals and laboratory samples; maintain patient records and invoices; monitor/assist in surgery/anesthesia, place IV catheters; calculate doses/prepare medications for the veterinarian; educate clients on preventative medications, surgical procedures, post-surgical and/or post-hospitalization at-home care; perform digital radiography; perform routine suture removals, nail trims, and anal gland expression; apply bandages and splints under directed supervision of the attending veterinarian; administer oral and injectable medications under the direct supervision of the attending veterinarian; demonstrate initiative and teamwork in everyday duties; work well with team members; perform other duties as assigned.
