Requirements:

Graduate of AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology Program; licensed in the state of South Carolina

Job Description:

Obtain patient history, vitals, and laboratory samples; maintain patient records and invoices; monitor/assist in surgery/anesthesia, place IV catheters; calculate drug doses/prepare medications for the veterinarian; educate clients on preventative medications, surgical procedures, post-surgical and/or post-hospitalization at-home care; perform digital radiography; perform routine suture removals, nail trims, and anal gland expression; apply bandages and splints under direction of the attending veterinarian; administer medications (oral, IV, SQ, IM) under the direct supervision of the attending veterinarian; demonstrate initiative and teamwork in everyday duties; work well with team members; perform other duties as assigned

Schedule:
MTWF 7:30 am to 6:00 pm & Th 7:30 am to 2:00 pm...schedule will be on a 30-40 hour week (individual work hours are set for each employee - will vary depending on availability and necessity)
