Physical requirements

  • Bend, stoop, climb, stand, walk, turn and pivot for the duration of the work day
  • Lift, lower, push, and pull up to shoulder height 70 lbs without assistance
  • Lift to a height of 42”, up to 140 lbs with the assistance of another person
  • Grasp and maintain control of work material
  • Simple hand grasping, power hand grasping and fine hand manipulation necessary to complete task
  • Coordinated use of hand-held power tools and precision machinery
  • Steady use of hands and arms for repetitive type motions associated with swinging a hammer, using an 11 lb nail gun and manipulation of parts up to 10 lbs
  • See and hear with sufficient capability to maintain proper job safety conditions
  • Physically able to properly use safety equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats, face shields, steel-toed boots, chaps, support gloves, dust masks, etc.
  • Maintain an acceptable work place
  • Standing or sitting in a static position up to 2 hours at a time
  • Work in an environment that will be subject to:

Job Description:

General Description

Wood Shop – Interpret customer drawings to manufacture parts using woodworking equipment.  Machinery operated includes table saw, jointer, planer, milling machine, drill press, band saw, drum/disc sanders, lathe, chop saw, nail guns, and forklift. Receive and ship customer and product.  Receive product (Per specific work instructions) Verify quantity and quality per packing list and PO requirements, receive in appropriate WMS system and place product into inventory.  Retrieve, pack and ship parts per customer specific requirements.

Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
