CRCST Sterile Processing Tech

"The Sterile Processing Technical Training program prepares individuals to help prevent infections and ensure surgeries and medical procedures are performed with properly sterilized tools. These technicians are responsible for cleaning and disinfecting surgical instruments, sterilizing medical equipment, inspecting and packaging instruments, managing sterile supplies, ensuring equipment is safe for patient use. As a comprehensive course including classroom, lab and clinical requirements, students will gain experience in central service and sterile processing, operating room, infection control, and material management. Upon completion of all requirements, students will be eligible for the CRCST certification exam. *Background Check, drug screen required, and immunizations are required."
