Phlebotomy Technician

The Phlebotomy Technician program gives students the basic skills needed for the collection and handling of laboratory blood specimens safely. Mastery of required skills include but not limited to are venipuncture, capillary puncture, safety, and infection control. Phlebotomists must develop excellent communication skills with patients and various other healthcare professionals. *Clinicals are completed Monday-Friday at various sites. *Background Check, drug screen and immunizations are required prerequisites for registration.
