Phlebotomy Technician program provides students with the basic skills necessary for the collection and handling of laboratory blood specimens in a safe manner. Mastery of required skills include but not limited to are venipuncture, capillary puncture, safety, and infection control. Phlebotomists must develop good communication skills with patients and various other healthcare professionals.
