Young Chef Academy

Are you interested in learning basic cooking skills? Do you want to see if culinary arts is a possible career field for you? Come for a 3-day introductory camp at G. Frank Russell Technology Center! You will work in the state-of-the-art kitchen that is the home of the flourishing RTC high school culinary arts program. An award winning chef will introduce you to baking, safe knife usage, and basic cooking methods and flavor profiles. Selected items will include cookies, bruschetta grilled chicken, and wood-fired pizzas. Students will also receive Young Chef Academy merch, recipes, and take home their completed mouthwatering masterpieces. Requirement: All students must wear closed-toe shoes. Students with long hair must have it pulled back. This youth course is open to any student currently in grade levels 6-9.
