Young Chef Academy 2 day

Are you interested in learning some basic cooking skills? Do you want to see if Culinary Arts is a possible field for you? Come for a 2-day introductory camp at RTC’s Culinary Arts program! We will introduce you to baking, safe knife usage, and basic cooking methods and flavor profiles. Selected items will include pies, pound cakes, fried rice, sesame chicken, chicken & waffles, crab rangoons, and fresh bread An award-winning chef will guide participants through oundational skills such as baking, safe knife handling, essential cooking techniques, and flavor development, all through hands-on experience designed to build confidence in the kitchen. Students will create a variety of dishes, receive Young Chef Academy merchandise and recipes, and take home their completed creations. All students must wear closed-toe shoes, and those with long hair must have it pulled back. This youth course is open to students currently in grades 6–9.
