Job Description:

Manages assigned administrative issues for the Office of Information Technology (OIT). Ensures managers and supervisors are notified in a timely fashion of administrative responsibilities and deadlines. Assists management with the compilation and preparation of necessary paperwork. Coordinates with supervisors to ensure that OIT employees are efficiently and thoroughly supported in personnel and administrative management functions. Serves as liaison for hands-on support to staff in use of the South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS) and PowerDMS. Prepares and processes all personnel actions. Processes various administrative paperwork for OIT staff in a timely fashion. Organizes and maintains an effective filing system in hard copy and electronic files. Maintains personnel and other confidential files for OIT. Handles confidential matters. Develops, adjusts, and optimizes office procedures and administrative practices. Manages OIT's budget. Coordinates all procurement and accounts payable activities. Researches, updates and maintains SCEIS timesheet data for OIT. Serves as OIT's principal liaison to other sections within the Agency for administrative and budgetary issues. Supports various agency initiatives by ensuring that OIT personnel are aware and compliant. Provides assistance to OIT staff in interpreting Agency policies and procedures. Logs-in, tracks and maintains consultation documentation to ensure prompt processing of IT procurement for all Agency departments. Monitors maintenance of office supplies. Prepares general and special correspondence at the direction of OIT management. Distributes daily mail. Prepares complete and accurate minutes from technical and project meetings. Processes all professional organization memberships and travel arrangements. Performs other administration duties as required.
