Job Description:

Serves as Office Manager for a Construction Unit. Uses SCEIS system to verify employee time and leave for accuracy. Maintains all monthly mileage reports. Assists the RCE in all personnel matters by preparing all related forms for new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations. Keeps abreast of changes in personnel policies and procedures. Maintains personnel and project filing system. Checks information regarding submission of PR 1391 reports, wage regulation reports, contractors PPP, weekly and monthly trainee reports and utility bills, contractors DBE participation reports and contractor payrolls and statements on compliance. Receives and directs telephone calls for construction office. Inventories office supplies and prepares requisitions for office and engineering supplies. Performs contract review to ensure that all EEO, sample certifications and quality control reports meets contract standards. Maintains purchase orders, receipts and requisitions. Compiles and types all forms of correspondence and reports, including letters concerning new hires, promotions, terminations, disciplinary actions, grievances, letters to public officials, and reports projects for DHEC, OSHA, and EPA. Plans, schedules and coordinates partnering meetings on construction projects with all parties involved. Maintains all schedules and documentation concerning records retention for the unit. Ensures that proper procedures are followed when retaining or destroying records. Receives complaints and forwards to proper supervisor and enters citizens complaints into computer. Performs other duties as assigned by the Resident Construction Engineer.

Full-Time, Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
