Wages/Salary: $24,500 – $27,000 annually
Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to communicate effectively with outside vendors, students and Lander faculty/staff. Must be able to handle multiple tasks, cope with interruptions, meet deadlines and set priorities. Experience using Microsoft Office software to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and School Dude for work orders.
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager, with the primary responsibility to provide procurement support for the acquisition of leased vehicles per the travel requests received. Other responsibilities include the direct supervision of the student workers, to include the recruitment, hiring, and scheduling to provide daily Physical Plant Support. All Physical Plant credit card purchases will be allocated to the responsible account. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the operation of the maintenance effort by reviewing and distributing work requests, answering phones, and providing general administrative support for the Physical Plant.
