Job Description:

Maintains control of correspondence, reports and documents through reminder systems;
maintains and modifies filing system. Maintains inventory of office supplies and forms; reviews requisitions and bills to ensure compliance with budget limitations. Handles requests from members of the public, either in person or by phone; handles incoming calls and correspondence and/or forwards to proper person or office. Receives telephone and personal calls; screens and refers them appropriately; personally solves programmatic/ procedural problems or answers questions that require substantial knowledge. Operates computerized systems to compile, type, revise, combine, edit, print and store correspondence, reports, records, and other documents. Prepares requisitions, purchase orders, receipts and maintains files and records. Acts as credit card holders and liaison for making purchases. Plans, organizes, develops and implements administrative/clerical procedures for an office, department or unit. Answers routine and non-routine correspondence. Researches, compiles, writes, and other record types correspondence, reports, and keeping requirements. Operates and maintains office equipment. Performs a variety of administrative support and advanced office duties. Acts as Adopt-A-Highway coordinator. Maintains records of all vehicle trip logs assigned to Greenwood Maintenance. Maintains records of monthly reports. Keeps and transfers files yearly. Performs other duties as assigned.
