Wages/Salary: $20,450.00 - $37,840.00 Annually
A high school diploma and two (2) years related work experience; or an approved
acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
May be required to work overtime, nighttime, and/or weekends during hazardous
weather or emergencies.
Experience in procurement, preparing requisitions and purchase orders in the SCEIS system.
Serves as the procurement agent at Richland Maintenance. Trains to process requisitions, purchase orders, and receipts in the agency’s procurement system (SCEIS). Successfully completes training to become a certified buyer for Richland Maintenance. Places orders and schedules deliveries of concrete, culverts, paint, office supplies, etc. Schedules disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials, pick up of empty drums, and repair services for the buildings and grounds at Richland Maintenance and Section Sheds. Generates purchasing memorandums; maintains procurement files and manuals; and maintains call logs on Blanket Purchase Orders and Blanket Purchase Agreements. Acts as liaison by reconciling monthly statements of VISA cardholders at Richland Maintenance for compliance with the State Purchasing Card Program. Assists in answering phone lines and two-way radio as needed. Updates stockpile information in the HMMS system. Performs special assignments as requested by Resident Maintenance Engineer by researching and compiling procurement data. Works during hazardous weather or other emergencies performing duties as instructed by shift supervisor.
