Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and experience in agricultural research or animal care that is directly related to area of employment. An associate degree in animal health technology or a discipline related to agriculture may be substituted for the required work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of prevention and treatment of injuries and illnesses of horses. Ability to maintain accurate records, coordinate schedules, and communicate effectively.
Responsible for feeding and caring for all horses at LUEC on a rotating schedule which would include a minimum of two weekends (Saturday and Sunday) each month and some evenings.
