Requirements:

A high school diploma and relevant program experience.

Additional Requirements: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Valid driver's license required. Applicants indicating college credit or degree(s) on the application will be required to bring a copy of college transcript to the interview. Job Description:

John de la Howe - School for Agriculture is a state-funded, public, residential high school focused on providing a unique and challenging agricultural education program. Our school, the first statewide program of its kind in the nation, will allow students to receive hands-on training in the fields of agriculture, agribusiness, forestry, land management, food science, and more - all aimed at assessing the needs of modern farms. Our mission is to provide quality agricultural education that will enable its students to be the state’s future leaders in agribusiness, business, and education.

The Animal feeding chaperone will transport and supervise students to feed and work with their animals. Animals will be housed on Governor’s School property. The Animal Feeding Chaperone will ensure students are feeding, watering, and working with their animal in a safe and healthy manner. The Animal Feeding Chaperone will supervise students while they are with their animal and provide support to students as needed.

Schedule:
Typical working days and shifts available: (26.5 hours per week) Monday- 3:00pm-8:45pm Tuesday- 3:00pm-8:45pm Wednesday- 3:00pm-8:45pm Thursday- 3:00pm-8:45pm Friday- 3:00pm-8:45pm
