Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs. A valid driver's license and safe driving history is required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. Experience in building collaborative partnerships with campus partners. Experience in planning and implementing events.

Preferred Requirements: Master's degree in higher education administration, college student personnel or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Detailoriented organizational skills. Good personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office and social media. 

Job Description:

The Assistant Director of Orientation Programs and Student Activities reports to the Director of Student Activities. The Assistant Director assists with the development, implementation, and assessment of the orientation program supporting new students and families during their entrance to and through the university. The Assistant Director will lead and assist in the university programming and special events sponsored by the Office of Student Activities in collaboration with other university and community partners.
