A high school diploma; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human
Resources Regulations.

Job Description:

Assists in inspecting all phases of construction work to include concrete, earthwork, asphalt, and
erosion control inspection. Takes measurements for quantities of grassing, concrete, and
asphalt. Performs basic calculations on areas, earthwork quantities, and length of pavement
markings. Computes necessary grades when needed. Obtains necessary construction samples.
Duties include obtaining material samples to be tested, filling out sample cards, and performing
tests on concrete and earthwork. Operates engineer's level for setting grades for guardrail, pipe,
bridges, roads and all other phases of construction. Prepares site manager daily work reports
and enters pay items for monthly construction estimates. Performs related duties as required.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
