The requirements are a high school diploma; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A valid motor vehicle operator's license.

Job Description:

The position assists in operating level for setting grades for guardrail, pipe, bridges, roads and all other phases of construction; assists in the inspection of guardrail, bituminous surfacing, grassing, pavement markings and other phases of roadway inspection; assists in the layout of bridges and roadways; assists in the inspection of the placement of concrete, hot laid asphalt, soils and
other phases of construction; assists in running soil density tests; assists in gathering final measurements for final estimates. Plots cross sections and figures volumes for earthwork quantities; assists in taking samples and tests for various construction materials; performs related duties as required.

Schedule:
The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
